evaluating the production materials suppliers of saipa industrial group by using data envelopment analysis(dea)

evaluation of corporate performance has been one of the main issues in managing decision making. nowadays, evaluation of the suppliers is a completely strategic process because organizations rarely change their suppliers. thesuppliers also do their best to remain stable in the loop of supply chain. hence, it is important to evaluate the suppliers and not something to be done once at a time. it is necessary to do evaluations continually and dynamically in a reasonable period of time repeatedly. this is more important when we discover that one or more of the supplier conditions may be changed during the time and their output affected by the changes mentioned. the present study aims to evaluate, select and rank suppliers companies in saipa corporation in order to provide the most efficient choice, considering the limitations. in this study, using models of data envelopment analysis (dea) such as bcc and ccr, efficiency of the saipa supplier companies as decision-making units in 2013 has been calculated and the results are analyzed, then efficient units have been ranked by considering some weaknesses of dea basic models.
